Flowers Along The River – Limited Edition Indigenous Art Throw by Dustin-Koa Art

Celebrate joy, connection, and the beauty of country with Flowers Along The River, a limited-edition collaboration between Good Throw Co and Indigenous artist Dustin-Koa Art (Caitlyn Davies-Plummer).

The Story Behind the Art
This vibrant design was inspired by a moment of pure joy — the day Caitlyn received her Clinical Psychology Masters thesis results. Feeling a weight lifted and a sense of blooming, she captured that emotion in this painting. Alongside this personal story, the artwork reflects the landscapes of Broken Hill and Menindee, featuring campsites, rock formations, rivers, and desert shrubs — elements that grounded her throughout her studies.

Versatile & Functional
Measuring approximately 2.2 m × 1.6 m, this throw is perfect for:

  • Picnic rug – beach or park, perfect for family gatherings

  • Bed throw – add warmth or update your colour palette

  • Lounge throw – add texture, vibrancy, or cosy warmth

  • Beach towel – dry off after a swim

  • Blanket – snuggle around a fire or movie night

  • Tablecloth – brighten up your dining table

  • Wall tapestry – showcase as beautiful Indigenous art

Sustainable & High-Quality
Made from 100% recycled cotton, this throw is soft, durable, and eco-conscious. Care instructions: hand wash or cold gentle machine wash only. Do not tumble dry. Be mindful of woven threads, as they can catch on jewellery or rough surfaces.

About the Artist
Dustin-Koa Art is the creative expression of Caitlyn Davies-Plummer, a proud Barkindji woman based on Kaurna Country (Adelaide). Caitlyn shares the rich narratives of her life, her father’s experiences, and the landscapes of Menindee and Broken Hill through her art. As both an artist and practicing psychologist, her work blends heritage, personal story, and contemporary reflection. Deeply influenced by family and connection, each piece is a vibrant celebration of culture and emotion.
